Westville resident, Isabel Wolf-Gillespie, still cannot believe her epic journey around South Africa and Zimbabwe, to raise awareness around rhino poaching, has come to an end.
She has run and cycled almost 10 000 kilometres on The Rhino Knights campaign -- a feat that took just over four and a half months.
Isabel's husband, Lloyd and sister, Raphaela, were with her all the way in a support car.
They visited more than 35 schools along the way to spread the word about rhino conservation.
Isabel has told Newswatch even though the long trip ended a week ago, what they have done is still sinking in.
"As I drove into Westville and I saw the people standing there I felt like I could do it all over again. The support we have received has just been amazing and I feel so privileged that we've been able to do this, to give back to rhinos and Africa's wildlife," she said.
